Biography:
Dr. Charney’s leadership experience spans numerous industries including higher education, healthcare, state and federal agencies, energy, manufacturing, telecommunications, travel, federal, defense, and non-profit organizations. She implements leadership and strategic principles that are adaptive, relational, and results-based, drawing on a deep understanding and belief in the human capacity to make choices that are empowering, creative, and growth-oriented. Renee’s leadership coaching and consulting experience of over 25 years has focused on guiding organizations, leaders, and teams eager to overcome barriers that stand in the way of their best selves and their best work, thereby enabling them to grow in their capacity to change and lead in new ways. As an adjunct professor teaching both Ethical and Strategic Leadership in the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program at Ó£ÌÒɬ¸£Àû¼§ School of Business and Communication, she engages with emerging and practiced leaders to explore new ways to enrich and embody meaningful leadership mindsets. Renee has co-authored a chapter titled “Leading from Betwixt and Between: Exploring How Liminal, Rhizomic Spaces Shape, Deepen, and Sustain Adaptive Leadership Mindsets within Complex Healthcare Systems” in the Routledge Studies in Leadership Research Academic Anthology, Adaptive Leadership in a Global Economy: Perspectives for Application and Scholarship (2022).
