Doctor of Physical Therapy graduates from Ó£ÌÒɬ¸£Àû¼§ are known for their professionalism and compassion.

The DPT program at Ó£ÌÒɬ¸£Àû¼§ delivers high-quality academics, hands-on experiential learning and individualized attention from faculty and staff who are devoted to the success of students. We do so while consistently living a culture of ethics and service. Our three-year curriculum is designed to build from semester to semester as students develop the necessary knowledge and skills to be professional and proficient physical therapists.

What makes our DPT Program unique?

Spacious and well-equipped classrooms and laboratories:

  • High-Fidelity Simulation Lab with adult, child and infant manikins
  • Inpatient lab with hospital beds and wall unit treatment/monitoring equipment
  • Outpatient and Rehab labs with hi-lo mats and a multitude of exercise equipment
  • Motion analysis system (Dartfish®)
  • Physiology assessment system (BIOPAC®)
  • Body weight supported treadmill training (LiteGait®) apparatus
  • Interactive rehabilitation and training tools (Wii®, MR Cube®)
  • Safe patient handling equipment (Arjo®)

Faculty who are role models.

  • Mount faculty are educators first and foremost but they also are clinicians and leaders in the community.  All faculty are members of and actively participate in various roles in the American Physical Therapy Association.

Diverse clinical experiences.

  • The Mount provides students with clinical experiences that are diverse in location, patient population and rehabilitation focus.  Mount clinical instructors have the same dedication to student learning as on-campus faculty.

Dedication to serving others.

  • Throughout the curriculum, students are provided with course-related and extracurricular opportunities to practice their skills and serve those in the local community.

Considering all these factors together, it should be no surprise that our students have a 100 percent ultimate pass rate on the National Physical Therapy Exam (2016-2019) and a 100 percent employment rate (2016-2018).
