(Cincinnati, OH) – Studio San Giuseppe Art Gallery at Ó£ÌÒɬ¸£Àû¼§ is honored to present Craig Lloyd — Projects: Past to Present (March 3 – April 5, 2024)

Gallery Reception: Wednesday, March 27, 2024, 4:00-6:30 pm

In the exhibition Projects: Past to Present, Craig Lloyd has included a variety of works including paintings, watercolors, pastels, mixed media, drawings, and prints. The paintings explore ideas starting with the figure and moving into urban streetscapes, constructions and eventually landscapes.

From the Artist:

“The landscapes are a stage of a continuum that began in my undergraduate studies where I was fortunate to be able to paint directly from nature.

While my career has taken me through various phases during which I incorporated constructed elements and mixed media, I have always included landscape or streetscape as an element.

Thematically, my more recent landscape work is intended to bring awareness of the finite quality of the natural environment.

Whether in the field or working to develop a painting in the studio, I become totally engaged in the collective sensations encountered during the careful study of a natural environment.”
