The Mount’s Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Won Awards at the 2024 Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association Conference in March!

At the end of March, a group of students and professors from the Mount’s Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences attended the . The Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association is a “thriving community of professionals empowering those in the field to practice at the highest levels of excellence” with the mission is to be “supporting and empowering the speech and hearing community through advocacy, education, and collaboration.”

 

The 2024 OSLHA Conference was held March 15th and 16th. Our Ó£ÌÒɬ¸£Àû¼§ Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences was honored to be awarded three different awards! This is a huge accomplishment, especially from such a new program at the Mount!

 

Congratulations to Dr. Erin Redle Sizemore, Ph. D., CCC-SLP, the Mount’s Chairperson of the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and Associate Professor, for being awarded “Fellow of the Association”.

 

Congratulations to Taylor Fenn, a graduate student in the Master of Speech-Language Pathology Program at the Mount, for winning the first place “Graduate Student Scholarship Award”.

 

Congratulations to Madeline Baker, an undergraduate student in the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences Program at the Mount, for being awarded the “Student Recognition Award”.

 

Great work to the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences for being awarded three different awards at the 2024 OSLHA Conference! You all are a great representation of the stellar faculty and students at Ó£ÌÒɬ¸£Àû¼§!
