Alyssa McRoberts, Ó£ÌÒɬ¸£Àû¼§ Department of Creative Arts Graduate ’24, is staying busy at the Cincinnati Art Museum this summer! Alyssa shared “I am the Cincinnati Art Museum Teaching Artist intern for the Summer Teacher Institute 2024 Japanese Artistry: Tradition Meets Innovation. I’ve been assisting Sam Gaier with planning, creating handouts, and developing projects for the event. In July, I will be leading projects inspired by Japan for art educators, art advocates, art appreciation volunteers, pre-service education majors, and teaching artists, allowing them to explore new concepts before the school year begins. I’m excited to integrate these handouts and fresh ideas into my classroom in the fall. The Cincinnati Art Museum has some exciting projects and guest speakers lined up to provide teachers with new knowledge and spark creativity!”
