The Ó£ÌÒɬ¸£Àû¼§ Career & Experiential Education Center is excited to invite students to our  on September 30th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

 

virtual career fair is an online event (as it takes place at a certain time and is not ongoing) in which employers and job seekers each meet in a virtual environment, using chat rooms, teleconferencing, webcasts, webinars and/or email to exchange information about job openings.

 

If you have never taken part in a virtual career fair before, The Career & Experiential Education Center is here to help you get ready for this event. By offering a diverse array of employers, our undergraduate students and alumni will have a wider breadth of opportunities, which will ideally lead to securing co-op placements and full-time career opportunities.

What will the virtual fair look like?

The best resource is the  that CareerEco provides. This will show you what the fair will look like on your end, how to make an account, where to upload your resume, how to find the list of registered employers, information on what each company’s chat room will look like, how to request a private chat with one of the recruiters, and more.

How do I attend our Ó£ÌÒɬ¸£Àû¼§’s Virtual Career & Co-Op Fair?

The platform that we are using for the fair the . Create your account using your Ó£ÌÒɬ¸£Àû¼§ email (that’s how they will know you are allowed to register). Click the career fair link, then click the light blue “Register Now!” button and follow the prompts to create an account.


  • Instructions for Screen Reader users: 

Once you register, you will be able to:

 

  • Mark your interest in attending companies/organizations.
  • Upload your resume, which will allow companies to review your qualifications before the event. Then, they can flag you as a potential candidate for open positions.
  • Look through the info provided by the attending companies.
  • Chat with the employer representatives in the company chat rooms the day of the event. You can chat in the group to the employer and other students logged in at that time, or you can request a private chat with an employer. Just like at an in-person fair!
